Aerospace Sealing Systems
Performance Sealing Inc (PSI) designs and manufactures high performance aerospace sealing systems for flight critical fluid and mechanical sealing systems. The PSI family of Duron® materials handles a wide range of temperatures -450°F to 600°F (-268°C to 315°C) encountered in cryogenic propellant rocket engine to high temperature gas turbine engine sealing requirements. PSI has a wide selection of spring energizers that allows the aerospace seal to be engineered to specific application requirements. Typical gland dimensions for Duruseal® spring energized polymer seals are designed for Mil G-5514G and AS4716. These aerospace seals are good and will work for a variety of applications.
